This page explains what personal information the Saen Studio website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only; each app has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
The website is run by SAEN STUDIO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17512031). We're responsible for your information. You can reach us at hello@saen.app; our postal address is on the company information page.
What we collect and why
- When you send us a message with the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message by email, so we can reply. The website doesn't store messages; they stay in our mailbox only as long as we need them to deal with what you asked, and no longer than two years.
- When you join a launch list (for example "Get an email when Weekplate launches"), we store your email address, which app it's for and the date. We use it to send you a short confirmation straight away, then one email when that app launches. We delete it once we've sent the launch email, or sooner if you use the unsubscribe link in either email or ask us.
- Spam protection. Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. To do that, Cloudflare looks at technical information such as your IP address and browser. It doesn't use cookies to track you.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing. The website's font is served from this site, not from Google.
Our lawful reasons
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we reply to messages and protect the forms from spam because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We email you about a launch because you asked us to (your consent), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the spam check, stores launch lists and passes contact messages on to our mailbox.
- Purelymail hosts our email inbox, where contact messages arrive.
- Resend sends the launch-list emails (the confirmation and the launch announcement) on our behalf.
These companies may process information outside the UK. When they do, it's protected by safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@saen.app and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
